The National Emblem of the Republic of Cristoria is a national symbol of the Republic of Cristoria. The emblem includes a blazon in the center, with leaves in the outer skirt, all wrapped by the flag of Cristoria.
History
Designing of the emblem dates back from March 2023 to early April 2023. The emblem was officaly proposed in the House of Representatives on 6 April 2023. Following the proposal of the emblem in the Senate on the evening of 6 April 2023, the State Symbols Act of 2023 was then enacted on 7 April 2023.[1]
The emblem has since been the offical emblem of the Republic of Cristoria since its enacting on 7 April 2023.
Despite the Cristorian government labeling the symbol as an emblem, it is technically a coat of arms due to the center shield.
Due to the Cristorian government's desire to distance themselves from "monarchist values", the coat of arms is officially labeled as an emblem.
Design
The emblem is as per the State Symbols Act of 2023, a shield divided into four regions.
The top left region, shaded in a similar color to royal purple, bears the atom symbol, representing the sheer intelligence and research that will evidently occur within the Republic of Cristoria.
The top right region, shaded in dark red, bears the hammer and sickle. The symbol represents the desire of the Republic of Cristoria to achieve communism via socialism.
The bottom left region, shaded in a cyan blue, bears a naval anchor. The naval anchor to become a naval power in the "foreseeable" future.
The bottom right region, shaded in green, bears two rifles crossed on one another. One rifle is in color, and the other is in gold and silver. The rifles represent the proletarians of Cristorias' abilities to defend not only themselves, but also the environment.
All four of these regions are composed within one shield, which has leaves surrounding it, with the Flag of Cristoria wrapped around it; showing patriotism.
