Muskobina standoff was a conflict between the Kingdom of Arlandica and Democratic Socialist People's Republic of Monzen, the Empire of Vilasia supported the Arlandican side as well. Tensions began in May 2022 after Chairman Matthew's propaganda to destroy Arlandica, this was caused an alert to sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arlandica. It was ended on January 2023.

Muskobina standoff is part of a larger instability of Monzen. It was pursued primarily through political actions, propaganda and espionage by both parts.

History

Arlandica and Monzen established diplomatic relations after Arland crisis during March 2021. Eventually, Monzen decided to cut their relations after committing disrespectful acts towards the people of Arlandica. The Tensions became more tense on May 2022 when the time De Villa, the Chairman of Monzen, spreads propagandas to destroy Arlandica. Civil guards claims that Chairman De Villa allegedly ordered his forces to launch an invasion in Galrea, It never happened since Monzen land defense forces is lacking of ability to have real equipments. The actions of Chairman De Villa and other Monzenians are still forms of aggression, even though they did it through online.

Aftermath

The former Head commanding general of the Monzenian Defence Force started to proclaim the betrayal of the Arlandican Government and started to publish posters throughout mainland Monzen.

General Arce, The Chief of staff of the Civil guards, orders to tighten the security in the entire country. King Jerold I signed a royal decree prohibiting all Monzenian officials to cross the borders of Arlandica. Months later, Arlandica builds facilities and began mobilizing its forces in the Province of Galrea, the nearest Arlandican territory to Monzen.

Involvement of Accande Terrie Ornindo

On January 2023, General Arce asserts that Accande Terrie Ornindo (ATO) has been involved to support Monzen in the tensions since it is a member-state of it. Secretary-General Victa responded that his organization is neutral and confidently rejected General Arce's claims.

Involvement of other micronations

Several micronations like Vilasia, Hesminia, Curimae, Begley Commonwealth and Renderfeit expressed their support to Arlandica. Emperor Vince I implemented sanctions against Monzen, prohibiting all Monzenian products and services as well as it's citizens to ever enter Vilasian borders. Vilasian forces was ready to support Arlandican forces in the case Monzenian aggression.

Arlandica's request

Arlandican government requested to it's Monzenian counterpart to apologize to King Jerold I and the Arlandican people, The apology letter will serve as a payment and an instrument to end the confrontations between the two micronations. Monzenzian Government rejected the requested apology.

Censorship

According to the Civil guards, Monzenian government usually has censorship over all media capable of reaching a wide audience. This includes its history, television, print media, radio, text messaging, instant messaging, literature, and the Internet; for the purpose of "privacy". Any articles about this incident might covered by fake information.

Present situation

On the second week of January 2023, Delegations from the governments of Monzen and Arlandica held a meeting to negotiate with each other, in order to end the tensions. Both micronations agreed to sign a Non-aggression pact or peace treaty soon, re-establishing the relations and ties between Arlandica and Monzen. The acting mediators are Secretary-general Victa and Arlandican lieutenant general Zoe Bernardino. The tensions was deemed to be "baseless".

On the First Secretariat Meeting, the Secretary-General of the Accande Terrie Ornindo urged the Monzenian Government to reach an agreement and apologize to the Kingdom of Arlandica.

The Monzenian government is still unstable, both internally and externally.^[e]^[f]^[g]

↑ On January 14, 2023, The Royalty House declares the victory of Arlandica in the conflict, following King Jerold's meeting with Secretary-general Carl Victa and Chairman Matthew, due to the lack of ability of Monzenian forces to invade Galrea.
