A Lordship is the third-most basic rank granted to a citizen in Ikonia who has been given a lordship by the monarch— just like a Knighthood and Baronetcy, the recipient is often someone who is not inducted as a member of one of the organized orders of chivalry; it is a part of the Ikonian honors system. Lords (someone who receive a lordships) rank below both knights of chivalric orders the three King's Medals, and above both a Baronet and a Knighthood. A person who is given a lordship is formally addressed as "Lord [Surname]". If they are a female, they are addressed as "Lady [Husband's Surname]". If the recipient is homosexual, and they are married with another man, the consort is addressed as "Lord Consort [Husband's Surname]". As of 19 June 2021, it has never been awarded. The award does not grant recipients a seat in the House of Lords.
