Loka Samasta Sukhinobhavantu (Sanskrit: लोकाः समस्ताः सुखिनोभवंतु:, trans.: Lokāḥ Samastāḥ Sukhinobhavantu, lit. 'May everyone, in the whole world, be happy') is a part of the Hindu prayer Lokaksema. Prior to Vishwamitra's formal transition to a monarchy on 8 June 2020, it was adopted as the national motto of Vishwamitra on 3 June 2020. It is inscribed in the Devanagari script on the coat of arms of Vishwamitra.

Origin

The origin of the motto is in the hindu prayer "Lokaksema" which is a Sanskrit word meaning "global well-being". Loka means "world", and Kshema means "welfare" in Sanskrit.
