Executive Orders of the Arstotzkan Union

Executive Orders of the Arstotzkan Union also known as Executive Orders or Executive Presidential Orders (dependent on the authority passing them) are special directives from the executives of the Arstotzkan Federal Government to force areas of the Arstotzkan Union to do something that the President(s) or Executive Committee want for them to do. They are created by the First, Second, Vice Presidents or the Executive Committee.

Authority to create Executive Orders come from the Constitution, however there is discussion over its use and the powers it grants. The Constitution does mention Executive Orders under Article 4(A) & (B) of Section 4 of the Constitution.

Orders

Command Orders

Prior to Executive Orders being used, Command Orders were the official designation for executive directives. The first and only recorded command order was Command Order #20 also known as the Military Expenditure Reduction Initiative. This was passed on 27 July 2020 by the Office of the First President. Many other Command Orders were lost or weren't recorded. Command Order #20 was also unique as it was signed into law by Second President Peter Gedye and two other members of the National Government. It eventually paved the way for the creation of Arstotzkan High Command two months later.

Several months later, the Command Order was overturned by the new Supreme Federal Court of the Arstotzkan Union to allow the Arstotzkan Federal Government to focus on expanding the armed forces for the coming war with the Confederate Democracy of Gamers.
