The Zealandian pound was the currency of the Kingdom of Zealandia until October 2011. The Zealandian Pound had been created by HM Zealandia Government shortly after the Kingdom was founded. The Zealandian Pound was orginally worth $NZD 1 until September 6, 2010. Afterwards, His Majesty's Zealandian Treasury advised His Majesty's Zealandian Government to revise the worth of the pound to its final value. The Zealandian Pound was divided into 100 sub-units called Pence (singular: Penny).

History

The First set of banknotes issued by HMZ Treasury were designed by HM King Anthony. These were vaild until mid September 2010 when the Royal Bank of Zealandia opned and designed new banknotes. On August 28, 2010, His Majesty removed from circulation the 1 and 2 Pound Banknotes. HMZ Treasury had announced that it would be printing three limited editions banknote series in January 2011. These would include, Important Figures of New Zealand, Australia and Great Britain, The Great Fictional Police Officers and Intermicronational Figures.
