Yusuf Kanafi is a politician in the Islamic Emirate of Acre. He is the founder and current leader of the Akkan Communist Party, and serves as its only member of the Akkan Parliament, representing Al-Khalisa.

Political Positions
Kanafi describes himself as an "orthodox Marxist-Leninist". He has remained obstinate in addressing calls to open up the party's manifesto to other far-leftists, despite the party's membership including Ba'athists, libertarian socialists and a small number of left communists.
