The State Committee for National Security and Intelligence is the main intelligence and national security government agency of the Arstotzkan Union. It is a branch of the Executive Committee and most of the leaders of the executive committee are also members in the SCNSI.
The SCNSI was also a founding member of the Collective Intelligence and Security Organization (CISO) and now a member of the Collective Intelligence Office aiding in providing intelligence for the United Micronations Treaty Alliance.
Background
The SCNSI was formed on 24 May 2022 by grouping the two preceding intelligence bodies into one. Originally the Arstotzkan State and National Security Agency (ASNSA) and Arstotzkan Federal Intelligence Agency (AFIA) handled the intelligence and national security matters until it was decided that the groups should be merged into one entity under the Executive Committee, the nations highest council, below the Office of the Presidency.
On June 7, 2022, the SCNSI was placed as a part of the Arstotzkan Allied Forces as the main intelligence agency. After the AAF was reformed the SCNSI was removed as a intelligence agent in the new TAMTO alliance.
