The Arstotzkan Federal Intelligence Agency (Russian: Арстоцканское федеральное разведывательное управление, Dutch: Arstotzkan Federale Inlichtingendienst), originally known as the National Intelligence Bureau until the end of the Federalisation of the Arstotzkan Union. The duty of the agency was intelligence collection and national counter terrorism prevention. Originally the AFIA worked under Arstotzkan High Command and would collection foreign intelligence during conflicts and wars. However in 2021, the AFIA was moved under the command of the Department of Intelligence and National Security in the Arstotzkan Federal Government and in 2022 it was merged with the Arstotzkan State and National Security Agency as a part of the State Committee for National Security and Intelligence.

History

The AFIA had a short history but it was marked with controversial actions. These have included several approved operations including releasing information about Operation: Independence.

Operation: Vnutrennyaya Razvedka (Domestic Intelligence)

Operation Domestic Intelligence or Vnutrennyaya Razvedka was an intelligence operation conducted by the AFIA from 1 July 2021 to 27 August 2021. It included the pursuing of information previously though classified by the Privacy Act 2021 was all placed on a document by agents of the AFIA. Information regarding these acts were only released nearly a year after the operation finished. It came out from the former Deputy Intelligence Chief of the AFIA went on an interview with Anon,[1] one of the leading Government Journalists of the AUNNN and informed the site about the actions of the AFIA and warned the public of the, later dismissed, threat of the new SCNSI.
