Economy
The Ameristralian Dollar (AMR) is the official currency of the Sovereign Municipality of Ameristralia. It had already been converted to a banknote. The Australian dollar was tied to the banknote at a rate of 1000 to 1.
In Ameristralia, Fiat Australian and US Dollars were also accepted as legal money. Prior to the banknote, the Ameristralian money was a BEP2 token known as the Ausican on the Binance test nett. It was set at the same price as two four-packs of Woolworths' Four'N Twenty Meat Pies.
The Ameristralian Dollar may be traded on the Stellar Network and on the municipal Discord channel, where it is controlled by the Sovereign Bank of Ameristralia Bank Bot. Users may use the bot to deposit, withdraw, pay, or receive cash and enable it to retain the funds in the same way that a traditional fiat bank would. Users that purchase American Dollars on a Stellar exchange may deposit the token with the bot, which will sync their account to the blockchain.
The municipality's government collects taxes to finance health, infrastructure, and immigration activities.
The economy of Ameristralia is relatively modest. There are no significant exports. Instead of being a consumer, the government wants to become a producer of products.
