The Rosso is the official currency in circulation in the Roscami Federation. It was created on 13 May 2021 by the Chief Adviser, Fearghas MacLochlainn as a way of managing public finances. It is limited and as of August 2023 has effectively no usage. The Rosso floats on the value of the Euro, used in the Republic of Ireland.

History

The currency was created by President Thomas Jacobs and Fearghas MacLochlainn on 13 May 2021 to help make finances easier in Roscamistan. On 14 May 2021, Thomas Jacobs began distributing a single one Rosso bills to each person in his sixth class 1 school mates. As the day went on, chaos was happening as ministers such as Tadhg O’Regan and Anthony Hanlon were stealing from others. It was discovered the next day Jacobs’ friend Irla O'Gorman used a Rosso to buy an unknown item in his local shop in Douiskastan Region. This indirectly, along with many other things, led to the fall of Thomas Jacobs in the 17thMayCoup.

Later History

In the final weeks of the Irish autumn of 2021, Fearghas MacLochlainn, now Home Secretary and Governor of the Aran Islands sent from the Home Office headquarters in Spiddal a letter containing 24 One Rosso bills in the post to Thomas Jacobs's house in Greater Roscam as a gift.
