"Old Hugian Friend" is the national anthem of Hugia. It used the same melodies as United Republic (Tractohall uses this as the anthem) and The Internationale before 2023. The anthem uses the same melody and tune as Auld Lang Syne, a Scottish folk song since November 2023.

History

The former Hugian anthem, Hugia Will Stay Huge, was first adopted 3 October 2020. This anthem used the same melody as the Yemen national anthem. However, there were no lyrics used. After 9 October, the anthem's melody changed to The Internationale.

After sometime in 2023, the national anthem became defunct. On 4 November, it would be adopted again as the "Old Hugian Friend". It would use the same melody as Auld Lang Syne with lyrics being written a day later.

Lyrics

"Old Hugian Friend" only has one verse officially. Two verses are sometimes used, but the third, fourth, and fifth are rarely used.

Should old tales exist for now
