Backystan is a county in Hugia located in the central-eastern region. Its population is zero out of the total six.

Etymology

The name Backystan means the back of the capital, Tractohall. The suffix, "stan" is taken from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan.

History

Backystan was established on 6 November 2023, splitting apart from Hugius, Veetria, and Hornkrow counties. It became the 8th county, but Bobila was incorporated into Easthro. It is the 7th and newest county of Hugia.

On New Year's Eve 2023, there have been talks about creating a new county in Backystan/Easthro counties. On 29 February 2024, an unorganized special territory was established in the northern part of the county. This also ultimately lost Backystan's former capital, Firepit. At the time there is no capital making it the only county to have not have one.
