Los Papangeles, officially the City-District of Los Papangeles, is a city-district in the Department of New Kronsborg of the Free City-State of Edenopolis. It is the only city-district of its kind so far incorporated in the city-state, making it by default the de facto capitol of the City-State; additionally, following the passage of Royal Edict 2016-11-XX, the twentieth work of royal legislation in November 2016, Hosting the Daily Micronational Tower, the headquarters of the national Edenic Royal Police Department, and Embassy Row, the area of the City-State that hosts all diplomatic missions to Edenopolis, it is also the financial and diplomatic capital of the nation.
The territory hosting the city itself was originally flat when it was first acquired by the City-State, before an aggressive building plan took place that constructed the Daily Micronational Tower, Embassy Row and the police headquarters in the space of less than forty-eight hours. Following this, a Royal Edict[1] from the King apportioned the territory on which the buildings sat and incorporated it as the City-District of Los Papangeles.
Etymology
The name of the city comes from a portmanteau of the name of the American city of Los Angeles in California, and the word paper, the building material used to construct the city.

Construction
The territory on which the City-District now stands was, at the time of the establishment of Edenopolis, an unincorporated, unorganized territory of the nation at large. However, with the construction of a number of buildings within the area making the area the effective capital of the nation, it was felt a more permanent solution would be required.
On the 9th of November, 2016, King Horatio Eden enacted Royal Edict 2016-11-XIX[2] which created the City-District, along with the Royal Commission of Building Insurance to be responsible for insuring the various buildings in the new City-District, including the police headquarters and the buildings on Embassy Row.
Culture
Language
The City-District of Los Papangeles is the only territory within the City-State that recognizes Spanish as a secondary language. It is, however, not spoken within the city, as it has only one resident.
Flag
The flag of Los Papangeles bears thirteen alternating red and white stripes across its surface, with a naval blue canton in the top left defaced by the seal of the City-District. The flag was based primarily on that utilized by the United States of America.
Buildings
Daily Micronational Tower
The Daily Micronational Tower is the local headquarters of the only business incorporated within the City-State, the Daily Micronational.
Police Headquarters
The Edenic Royal Police Department is headquartered in the City-District, and this building marks its only building in the entire nation.
Embassy Row
Embassy Row holds a number of buildings, most of them empty. Two of the buildings, however, are used as the official diplomatic missions of the Abeldane Empire and the Commonwealth and the Kingdom of Shorewell.
Governance
The City-District is governed by two people: the Lord Mayor - appointed by the incumbent King - and the Chief Executive, elected by the public. The Royal Edict creating the city, however, does not specifically apportion defined powers to either post, so it is unclear who is responsible for what. Emerson Rief, President of the United States of Wings, is presently the Lord Mayor, but no Chief Executive has yet been elected.
