The Lomellinian Galactic Empire (Italian: Impero Galattico Lomellini), also known as Star Empire of Lomellina or simply LGE, was the celestial possessions of the Principality of Lomellina. The empire spreaded throughout Planet Mars with 2 colonies,Scandia Colles and Acidalia Planitia, and Planet Venus with 3 colonies, Ovda Regio, Tethis Regio and Artemis Corona .

Being part of Lomellina, the empire was administrated by the Empress, D. Tânya Correa D'Ornellas also Princess of Lomellina under a Colonialism type of government.

History

Pre-Empire

Before the empire's establishment the celestial possessions of Lomellina were administrated by both the prince and the princess of Lomellina as part of the Dukedoom. They were only refered as martian colonies and with much problems in many areas the prince couldn't find time to administrate the vast extraterrestrial territories that he possessed. So he appointed his consort the princess as the head of state of the martian colonies.

Formation

With the control over the martian colonies, the princess then with the consent of the prince, formed the Lomellinian Galactic Empire a branch of the Principality of Lomellina wich administrated only the extraterrestrial territories since D. Tânya's ambitions were to colonize other planets as well. Followed by it's formation the princess appoints herself as Empress of LGE and puts her spouse as Regent since LGE was still a part of Lomellina's control.

Expansion Era

The Empire after being established searched to claim another colonies in Planet Mars, however due to a territorial dispute with Empire of Mars the further martian claims would be difficult to both nations. Following this the Regent gave the Empress D. Tânya an ideia of expanding LGE's territory throughout Planet Venus and the proposition was accepted. On 9 September 2014, LGE claimed 3 venusian colonies, Ovda Regio, Tethis Regio and Artemis Corona.

Extinction

After the events of the Lomellinian Revolt, as a result of D. Guilherme's overthroned, Richard Abreo-Louis discarted the Galactic Empire and ended it.

Goverment and politics

The empire was a colonialist monarchy wich was the establishment, exploitation, maintenance, acquisition, and expansion of colonies in one territory by people from another territory. The empire was administrated by the Empress D. Tânya and co-administrated by the Regent D. Guilherme I, prince of Lomellina since LGE was a branch of the Principality of Lomellina.

Political domains

Same as Lomellina, the Lomellinian Galactic Empire was divided into 3 political domains with some differences. The Lomellinian Royal Family however wasn't the only political group with the right of ruling, the Lomellinian Aristocracy can also rule in 2 political domains apart from the Imperium. The existing political domains were:

Imperium - The ruling domain in LGE, helded by the Empress of LGE D. Tânya Correa D'Ornellas.
Grand-Dukedoom - The Grand-Dukes were the rulers of planets with territories under LGE's jurisdiction, inside the Grand-Dukedoom was the Dukedooms of the certain territories.
Dukedoom - The Dukes were ruling representatives of the extraterrestrial colonies. They obeyed the Grand-Dukes of the specific planet.

Diplomacy

Foreign relations in the Lomellinian Galactic Empire were the same as in the Principality of Lomellina. The allies were the same and so the treaties since LGE was a branch of Lomellina.
