VIII Senate layout

On January 6th, 2019, Elections for Altannese Senate were held. elections were the first Senate elections under new regulations on voting time, reducing it from 48 hours to 24. This resulted in a record low turnout.

These elections gave the right wing a majority in Senate, with independent Jorge Macazaga joining the chamber. This was mainly due to abstentionism among the left.
