The Hugian News Channel (HNC) is a broadcasting network owned by MicroTV International. It is the government approved successor to the Royal Hugian news source. The channel is managed, edited, and hosted by David, the owner of MicroTV International and a e-citizen of Hugia.

Launched in 2024, it has sometimes been described as state owned media due to strong influence by the Hugian government and bias towards the Hugian government. The Hugian News Channel is the only channel broadcasted by MicroTV International.

History

The processor to the HNC, the royal Hugian news source, launched on 14 November 2024. The royal Hugian news source (RHNC) was managed fully by Henry V. and the Hugian government. Henry V. hosted the Royal Hugian News Source under different voices and personas. Its last broadcast was on 13 January 2024.

David approached Henry V. with the idea of running an individual news channel along with the government YouTube channel, Henry V. accepted the offer, founding the HNC. The Hugian News Channel was launched on 12 August 2024. The first broadcast was marked with a speech from the prime minister of Hugia.

The main program of the Hugin News Channel is breaking news, which gives updates on recent developments and announcements. Other programs by the HNC include announcing holidays and recaps. The HNC occasionally does international news, but only if it impacts Hugia and its citizens. Segments of the Hugian News Channel are posted on their official youtube channel.
