The Communist Party of Burkland, officially the Communist Party of the Marxist People's Republic of Burkland, was a political party that served as the de facto ruling party of Burkland for the majority of the micronation's existence. As with Burkland itself, it was almost completely controlled by Rachel with little to no input from other members. It was formed after Burkland legalized political parties. The function of the party in Burklandi society was unclear. Burkland was technically a multi-party democracy and thus, the Communist Party could, in theory, have been voted out of office. However, in practice, the government of Burkland was ruled by the Communist Party and more specifically Rachel.

The party adopted communism and Burklandi independence as its guiding ideologies. However, there was no clear plan for how Burkland, which was heavily dependent on the United States, could maintain independence. There was also no clear plan for how a socialist Burkland could transition into a communist society. The predominant ideology of the party, in practice, was opposition to United States foreign policy and to the foreign policy of micronations it viewed as "imperialist". This often led to support for governments it viewed as opposed to imperialism.

Inspired by the popular fronts of some Marxist–Leninist macronations, the Communist Party was part of the People's Democratic Front alongside the Social Democratic Party of Burkland (Democratic Socialist Party) and some independents. The People's Democratic Front was, in turn, part of the Workers' Bloc in Zealandia. The Communist Party, individually, was part of the Intermicronational Socialist Forum.

The party technically existed after the dissolution of Burkland. Like Burkland, the Communist Party (and the People's Democratic Front) dissolved at a set date: January 21, 2019 13:37 UTC. In 2019, the Communist Party rejected all forms of authoritarianism and nationalism (including micronationalism) and encouraged all members to join socialist organizations, trade unions, or both in their respective macronations to create genuine change rather than "costume communism". Before the dissolution, the party adopted Nazi Punks Fuck Off as its official anthem as the previous anthems were viewed as totalitarian.
