Barry Ortiz (born September 1, 1989) is the 2nd and acting vice president of the Republic of Petorio. The first vice president was Joe Paulin, but he retired after only 2 days in office. He ran for president in October 2008, but was defeated by current president Kalvin Koolidge.
Early life
Barry Ortiz was born on September 1, 1989, in the United States, and was raised by his single mother. His mother was very wealthy, which gave Barry a happy childhood; Barry was pleased. Barry was raised very intelligently by his mother, and it was proven when he got excelling grades in school.
Petorio
Barry and Kalvin Koolidge are the original founders of the Republic of Petorio. In 2006, when Petorio was founded in its original form, Barry Ortiz was the one suggesting that a republic system be set up. in 2008, in Petorio's current form, Barry ran for president against his friend Kalvin Koolidge and unfortunately lost, but was later made vice president. Barry is credited as the person who suggested Petorio's national anthem, newspaper, and Bosque National Forest. Barry Ortiz has left micronationalism as of late 2009.
