The Princedom of Aysellant is a military neutral country. The Armed Forces of the Princedom of Aysellant ( native name : Fŏrmaht Ąysellantæ ) was created to protect the sovereignty of the state from external and internal attacks.
Legal status
The Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces is constitutionally the Prince of Aysellant as head of state. Operative command of Armed Forces is vested in the General Staff ruling by Military Minister. This position is currently vacant. Last TDY of Military Minister was His Excellency vice-admiral and baron Vitel of Fessenfelt. From November 3, 2013, General Alexander Glushko was created as Military Minister.
Ideology and Values
Princedom of Aysellant has proclaimed itself to be a military neutral country meaning it will only engage in self-defensive operations. The main duty of a neutral country is to abstain from war. Therefore, Aysellant requirement is to prepare itself in defending its neutrality and sovereignty of its borders. The Armed Forces’ objectives include, defending Aysellant from armed threats, providing aid in case of natural disasters and catastrophes and upholding peace.

- Armed Forces have a duty to defend the existence of the Princedom, its independence and the security of the citizens and residents of the State.
- The obligation of the Armed Forces and its soldiers is to protect human rights based on the Charter of Universal Human Rights. Every human being is of value regardless of his or her origin, religion, nationality, gender, status or position.
- Armed Forces servicemen and servicewomen will gain the professional knowledge and skills needed to perform their tasks, and will carry them out while striving continuously to perfect their personal and collective achievements.
- Armed Forces view their service as a mission - they will be ready to give their all to defend the State, its citizens and residents. This is because soldiers are representatives of Aysellant who act based on the authority given to them under the Constitution of the State.

General Staff
The General Staff of the Armed Forces, composing of professional personnel, has the highest authority in the Armed Forces. The Staff create strategic and tactical preparations and procedures for use in peacekeeping missions and in times of war and is responsible for developing the command structure, creating a plan for soldier recruitment, regulating training curriculum, and performing other tasks determined by the military law.
Personnel
All citizens of the principality between the ages of 18 and 60 are obligated to military service. The service is divided into active and reserve. Military service age - 18 years. The officer corps of the Armed Forces of the Princedom trained for the International Treaties in foreign military schools. Non-commissioned officers of the Armed Forces are trained in military schools of the Princedom.
Basic tasks of the Land Forces are:
- To maintain an optimal level of combat readiness of the Land Forces.
- To fight a possible aggressor's main forces on strategic-operational levels and to defend against any land, air and amphibious assaults.
- To prevent, in cooperation with the other branches of the AF, an aggressor from in-depth operations on Antarctic territory.
- To build and develop the capability to respond to requests of non-traditional tasks that are required of the Armed Forces.
Air Force and Air Defense
Air Force and Air Defense aim is securing sovereignty of the air space of the Princedom of Aysellant and providing air support to other services in implementation of their tasks in joint operations. It is a parts of the air defense integrated system. This double role of the Air Force and Air Defense is realized with the following main tasks:
- Inspection and control of the air space security.
- Predominance in air space.
- Providing help in natural, humanitarian and technological disasters.
- Search and rescue operations.
- Support to control of the proliferation of people and material goods.
