The 2022-2023 MicroNations League Cup Season started on 5 August 2022 with 15 registered nations of which 9 are playing their inaugural season.
The Lundenwic Lions finished in first place with 1,875 points and they had the most goals tied with Shedingeh at 118.
Season
First half
The first half of the season ran from 5 August 2022 until the start of Christmas break on 14 November 2022.
This first half was dominated by the Lundenwic Lions who remained on the top of the standing for all but 3 weeks. The Lions were only challenged by the Lehmark Legends, the only other club who achieved 1st place during the first half. 3rd place was held firmly for most of the season by Shedingeh, losing the position only twice during the first 14 weeks. They were challenged during the last few weeks by the New Weddington Warriors FC, but were able to retake the position on the last week before the break. After a disappointing start, the Warriors were able to make on the most impressive comeback of the season, going from in 12th place to 3rd place in only 10 weeks. Doing so the ousted H.E.R. Saints, which had been holding on 4th place for most of the season.
The AF Sancratosia held on to the 6th place for 7 consecutive weeks before being relegated to the 7th place by Ωmegaland who had been able to slowly come back from 8th place. On week 9, AJ Anthophilia reached 8th place, a position which they held onto until the start of the break, a disappointing position considering their personal best, 3rd place on week 2. The Free State of Uris Sporting Federation had a bad start, going from a 5th place on week 4 to slowly going down to 9th place, a position that they kept going into the break. The other comeback of the season is attributed to the Urabba Parks FC which were able to come back from the 15th place to maintaining 10th place for 7 consecutive weeks. Settling just under the Urabba Parks FC is the Begley Commonwealth going into the break at 11th place.
The last three teams all battled for the last positions with 14th place ultimately going to the Pikeland Crusaders who were not able to hold onto their season best of 8th place in the first half. BC Munoz had a terrible season, holding onto last place for all but 2 weeks during the first half.
