The vice president of Richensland is a political position in Richensland. The current vice president are Aidan McGrath and Terry McKeen III. The vice presidents are the deputy heads of state and of government as they are the deputy of the president.
The office has an additional title of "Head of the People's Representative Assembly". This title is usually exercised by the first vice president, but if not available, by the second vice president. Due to the busy nature of the office, the vice president is instead represented by the "Head pro tempore of the People's Representative Assembly", the deputy of the vice president in the People's Representative Assembly. The vice presidents are not mandated to be members of the People's Representative Assembly.
The first vice president is the vice presidential candidate who won the most votes during the election. This means that the first vice president does not necessarily have to be the elected president 's running mate. The second vice president is, however, the presidential candidate that won the second most votes during the election and may not hold the same views as the president. There can only be one vice presidential vacancy at any given time.
