Treasury (Salanda)
The treasury of the Kingdom of Salanda also known as His Majesty’s Treasury houses all the money of the Kingdom of Salanda as well as important valuables it is owned by King Reuben I and is looked after by the Bank of Salanda it funds the annual budget of the Kingdom of Salanda.
The Chancellor of the Exchequer who is Eric Darkgoat’s role is to manage the treasury the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s job is to set an allocated budget within the parameters of the Constitution of Salanda while the Prime Minister holds the role of Chief Treasurer supervising the treasury.
Budgets
The average budget is around £30-£50 though sometimes funding for the House of Salanda’s personal savings are used as well. Budgets are usually passed on 22 June which is the Independence Day at 23:59pm.
Spending
The majority of the spending within the treasury goes to improving the Kingdom of Salanda’s aesthetics, improving its agricultural sector and well as science and technology such as the Salanda Space Agency, budget spending is also used for the Kingdom of Salanda’s cultural education programs as well.
Chancellor of the Exchequer of Salanda
The head in practice of the Treasury of Salanda is the Chancellor of the Exchequer of Salanda. There have so far been four Chancellors of the Exchequer of Salanda. The current Chancellor of the Exchequer of Salanda is Eric Darkgoat.
