The Presidential Palace, formerly the Continental Palace, is the official residence and workplace of the President of the United Federation. It is located in Kosa Federal District and also serves as the seat of the executive branch of the Federal Government of Aumarea. The Executive Office of the President is also based out of the presidential palace. In Aumarea, the phrase "Presidential Palace" can also be used to refer to the president and their advisors.
As a site of national importance and national history, the Presidential Palace is owned by the National Park Service.
History
The Presidential Palace began as the Continental Palace - being home to the President of the Continental Congress. It was inaugurated as the home of the head of state on 3 March 2023. After the ratification of the Constitution of Aumarea it was renamed the Presidential Palace and became the home of the President of Aumarea and the first family as well as the seat for the executive branch of the federal government.
