Kosa Federal District (commonly Kosa, Kosa FD, Kosa F.D. or the Federal District) is the capital city and federal district of the United Federation of Aumarea.

The Constitution of Aumarea provides for a federal district under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Congress of Aumarea. Kosa is not a part of any state and is not one itself. It is the only federal district in the nation.

The city is the home to each of the three branches of the Federal Government of Aumarea, Congress (legislative), the President (executive), and the Supreme Court (judicial).

The city is the oldest in Aumarea. It was established on 31 March 2023.

City Government

The constitution grants congress exclusive jurisdiction over the city. The city has an executive mayor as its head of government. The mayor sits as the chair of the district council and is responsible for city laws and maintenance, however - congress has the ability to overrule mayoral decisions and withdraw the powers of the city council.

Federal Government

The district is the home of the Federal Government of Aumarea. It also serves as the seat for executive offices in government, as well as the branches of government and the Armed Forces of Aumarea. The Electoral College is also headquartered in the city and uses the federal district as a central meeting place during presidential elections.
