Ormsby - Miller Production Studios LLC is an Arstotzkan Union based film company that is dedicated to the production of the Blackman series of films by Zion Ormsby. Originally operating as an Instagram group chat for the production of the second Blackman film it has expanded to a fully fledged company.
With 21 people on staff it is the largest company in the Arstotzkan Union. It is also the only company that is not a state-owned enterprise, however with the major success of the first Blackman film and the major participation of the Arstotzkan Federal Government in its production, Ormsby - Miller Production Studios has received major grants from the Arstotzkan Federal Government in its efforts to continue to produce movies.
History
Following the success of The Blackman lead actor and director Zion Ormsby wanted to start work on a second movie. On 12 August 2022 Zion gathered together a large group of his friends to start work on a second movie. Following the release of the sneak-peak information, Zion decided to form a company to own the franchise.
Many names for the company were tossed around including Crazy (Zion Ormsby), Undies (Jack Unsworth) and Miller (Jack Miller) or CUM for short, however the idea of Ormsby - Miller Studios was chosen with it becoming Ormsby - Miller Productions LLC in August 2022 with it being registered in the Arstotzkan Union and New Zealand.
In December 2022, an account of the First President submitted a cheque to the Vice President of the Arstotzkan Union from the Arstotzkan State Central Bank of 25 credits to help get the movie finished. This being the first time the Arstotzkan Federal Government gave grants to a company.
On the 1st of September 2022, Zion contracted Ethan Brinkman to become the companies legal attorney and create an official contract of employment which to this day, no one has signed.
