1st and 2nd President and Commander in Chief of the CDG Elijah John Mitchell Tibbits is the incumbent president, and founding father of the Confederate Democracy of Gamers (CDG). President Tibbits founded the CDG on the 9th of November, 2020 as a retaliation to the Arstotzkan Union's illegitimate claim to his lands. The CDG function as a confederacy, with the federal government located in Johnston DT. He is currently one of two memberss of the CDG's senate as all other members retired after the Arstotzkan Invasion.
The CDG was sent underground after the supposed dissolvement of the nation by the Arstotzkan Union. As of the 1st of June 2022, President Tibbits revived the CDG and is currently in the process of inducting new members into his cabinet. His cabinet currently only holds his current Acting Vice-President, Jack Unsworth.
Presidency
Early Presidency
President Tibbits became president on the same day as the founding of the CDG. During the early days of the nation, President Tibbits and his cabinet focused on the large threat of the Arstotzkan Union to their people's safety. While never launching any official military efforts, the CDG offered citizens of the Arstotzkan Union asylum within their borders. This was seen as a hostile move by the president and led to the Arstotzkan - Confederate War.
Arstotzkan - Confederate War
A short war that ended with a stalemate and truce between the nations, the Arstotzkan - Confederate War lasted from the 26th of November 2020 to the 10th of February 2021.
Present Day
President Tibbits recently became the 2nd President and Commander in Chief of the CDG on the 1st of June 2022 in an effort to bring the CDG back to it's former glory. An alliance with Grayson Country was formed on the 1st of June 2022 to combat the increasing threat of the Arstotzkan Union to CDG independence. While neither nation is recognised as such by the Arstotzkan Union, their alliance is holding strong. The CDG was officially inducted in to the Tauranga Commonwealth of Micronations on the 8th of August 2022, following suit with their ally Grayson Country.
On the 26th of October President Tibbits announced the relinquishing of Johnston D.T. to the Arstotzkan Union planned for the 1st of November 2022.
Political Ideas
Classical Liberalism
President Tibbits adheres to the ideas of classic liberalism and a free market with economic freedom and minimal government. His stance led him to found a confederate country with minimal federal involvement in state legislature or governance.
Social Conservatism
While holding some libertarian beliefs, President Tibbits would be classified as socially conservative due to certain stances on abortion, traditional masculinity, and gender roles in society.
Personal life
President Tibbits usually keeps his personal life under wraps to better serve the citizens of the CDG.

President Tibbits has expressed his willingness to fight President Ethan Brinkman of the Arstotzkan Union multiple times.
Beef with his Acting Vice President
President Tibbits is currently in the middle of unquashed 'beef' with the current acting Vice President, Jack Unsworth. He has outlined his firm belief that his Vice President is a schizo and needs to be stopped. Other labels he has placed on Vice President Unsworth include midget, crazy, gaslighter and short.
