Ribbon bar (Grand Knight Commander)

The Most Honourable Order of Meritorious Service to Federal Territories is one of the four Capital Territory orders of the Queenslandian honors system, was established on 2 January 2023 pursuant to royal decree for establishing the Order of Meritorious Service to Federal Territories No. 2/0923 by King Albert of Queensland, as the first Order that was established after it's founding Queenslandian Capital Territory

Grades and Order

Grades

The Sovereign of Order (currently Albert of Queensland) is Sovereign of the Order. All deeds granting decorations of the Order must bear the signature of the Sovereign. Members of the order are granted a certificate and personal coat of arms with the insignia of the Order. The Order has four grades:

  • Grand Knight Commander (conferred on foreign Heads of State, people of Queensland, senior politicians, diplomats, etc.)
  • Grand Commander (conferred on foreign Heads of State, people of Queensland, senior politicians, diplomats, etc.)
  • Knight Commander (conferred on people of Queensland, senior politicians, diplomats, etc.)
  • Companion (conferred on people of Queensland, senior politicians, diplomats, etc.)
  • Officer (conferred on people of Queensland, senior politicians, diplomats, etc.)

All the recipients are entitled to bear post-nominal letters. All recipients of the highest grade of Grand Knight Commanders bear the post-nominal letters of "GKMF", Grand Commanders GMF, Knights Commanders "KCMF", Companions "CMF" and Officers "OMF".
