Sir Paul Gordon, Baron Gordon of Durham (born 6 August 2001, พอล กอร์ดอน) is the current and 12th Prime Minister of Queensland and a former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Independent Commonwealth Affairs of Queensland. He is also the first-ever prime minister to not be a close aide of the Queenslandian royal family and the first prime minister to be of republican ideology.

He became the prime minister on 7 July 2022 following the 2022 general election to the House of Commons. He was re-elected to office during the March 2023 general election and was sworn-in for a second term on 2 March 2023.

Political career

Sir Paul Gordon's served as a deputy prime minister under prime minister Charlotte Eberhard-Bernhard (now Queen Benedikte X) between 12 December 2019 and 10 March 2020 succeeding James Alexander on the top post. Six days after his appointment as deputy prime minister, he was named as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Independent Commonwealth Affairs on 18 December 2019 and remained in office till 10 March 2020.

In a spectular return to the politial arena, he was named as the 12th Prime Minister of Queensland on 7 July 2022 following the 2022 general election.
