An Okrug is a type of Cheslovian subdivision, they are area's of Cheslovia with full government control over but are not legally owned by Cheslovia (ie. owned by a Cheslovian citizen) and are thus still apart of the UK. Okrugs are governed by the federal government instead of a governor.
History
Okrugs were created after 1 November 2008 when the Principality of Kaznia was reformed into the Cheslovian Federation.
Okrugs in Russia
In the present-day Russian Federation, the term okrug is either translated as "district" or rendered directly as "okrug", and is used to describe the following types of divisions:
- Federal Districts, such as the Siberian Federal District;
- Autonomous okrugs, such as Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
