The Minister of Propaganda and Public Enlightenment was the head of the Ministry of Propaganda and Public Enlightenment and a member of the Cabinet of Roscamistan. The Minister is also senior minister at the department, having two junior ministers below him.
History
The office was created on 1 November 2021, and the portfolio was given to Ludwig Collins, to overlook the implementation of the laws relating to censorship, speech, thought etc.
After the expulsion of Ludwig Collins from his positions by Doros Patusky when he had the powers of the Senatus Paramount Ultimatum, Jan Kotoński was appointed the second minister by Thomas Jacobs and as of January 2022, the incumbent Minister of Propaganda and Public Enlightenment. The office was abolished on 15 May 2022 along with the positions of Minister of Education and Minister of Information, replaced by the Ministry of Public Education.
Duties
The Minister had 5 main responsibilities, First was encouraging “Roscamism” a Roscami ideology that believed in traditional values and loyalty to the leaders. Second is the classification of film by what audiences can see it and what audiences can not. Third was to spread propaganda against the vices of the state. Fourth was to assist the Home Office in matters of state information, and fifth is that the Deputy Minister was being responsible.
