The Minister of Home Affairs is the member of the Parliament of Hashima who is in charge of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The Minister of Home Affairs is elected by the subjects of the Principality of Hashima in a General Election. Its office lasts for 3 years but can be stopped early if the Prince and the Princess of Hashima decide to remove the Minister of Home Affairs from its office.
Citizens that are members of the Nationalist Party of Hashima can also be candidates for becoming the new Minister of Home Affairs; the minimum age for being a candidate is 25 years old.
The founding Minister of Home Affairs was Qiang Xiaoling.

Constitutional role

The Minister of Home Affairs has the duty of leading the homonym Ministry, developing the national policies in the field of Home Security.
The Minister of Home Affairs has also the responsibility, in case of war, to assume also the role of Minister of Propaganda.
The Minister of Home Affairs has also the duty to oversee the Customs and Border Protection of Hashima, the Fire and Emergency Service of Hashima and the Police of Hashima.
