The Lord Governor of the Colony of Culver is the official viceregal representative of the King of Baustralia within the lands of the Colony of Culver. The post was created upon the creation of the colony and is currently extant.

Usually in devolved colonial governments, appointed at the advice of the premier, the inaugural lord governor was appointed directly by King John when the colony was formed by Juniperian and Laskaridian land, of which the Lord Villevoiche of Culver governed as sovereign.

Within the colony, the Lord Governor is a ceremonial figure who nominally presides over the functions of governance, whereas the governance itself is vested in the Premier and his cabinet. Within Baustralia, he reports to the House of Lords as the liason between the kingdom and colony. An additional duty of the Lord Governor, not assigned to other lords governor, is to oversee the formation of a government, and to report on its progress, allowing for its promotion to dominion, making the lord governor the governor general, and the premier the prime minister.
