List of prime ministers of Agatonia

The following is a list of prime ministers of Agatonia. There have been three people who have served as either the head of state or the head of government, of which two have been human and one has been plush toy. For almost the entire existence of Agatonia, the nation has been under a parliamentary system in which the heads of government, the president and the prime minister have a considerable degree of influence and power over the head of state, who has been, since Agatonia's establishment in 2023, a monarch.

From the previous Republic's establishment in early 2023 until October 2023, the position of the head of government of Agatonia pertained only one office: the president. In October 2023, the prime minister office has been introduced in the People's Republic of Agatonia, in which Bart II was appointed as prime minister of Agatonia. From October 2023 to August 2024, even when the People's Republic of Agatonia has been disestablished, the prime minister office had little to no function in the Agatonian government, until Mūta Ushiyori has been elected by the majority of the votes in the 2024 Prime Minister Elections on 9 August 2024.

Prime Ministers are elected in Prime Minister Elections, which occur every year in July or August. If an incumbent prime minister is re-elected, the PM's one-year term will be extended, unless the incumbent PM steps down. The current incumbent prime minister of Agatonia is Mūta Ushiyori, with his political party GreatGreenGoal. He was the first prime minister in Agatonian history to be elected democratically and fairly. He was elected by an overwhelming three seats out of four in the 2024 Prime Minister Elections. He is the Minister of Animal Security, although he also aligns himself with the Ministry of Agriculture.

List of prime ministers since 2023

The Prime Minister of Agatonia (Agatonian: kuragikurái agatoniann) is the second head of government since August 2024, alongside the president of Agatonia. The prime minister is in charge of the Prime Minister Office within the Government. The role of the Prime Minister has varied greatly after the 2024 Prime Minister Elections. The fifth constitution of Agatonia has redefined the PM's position. While the fifth constitution of Agatonia does not define that the PM must be a member of solely the House of Representatives, the lower house of Agatonia, the PM must be a member of solely the lower house.

The first Prime Minister of Agatonia was Bart II, appointed as Prime Minister in 2023, currently the Emperor of Agatonia, and the first Prime Minister to be elected in popular and democratic elections is Mūta Ushiyori, receiving the majority of the votes in the 2024 Prime Minister Elections with his political party GreatGreenGoal. The current government, the 2nd government, is composed as follows: HE HOG President Kaito I, Mūta Ushiyori, Ainosuke Kumakata, Hop Godai, Yoyo Kumakata, Ursus Minibii and Usa Rabbitson.
