The Lieutenant Governor of Mervustan is the deputy head of state and government of Mervustan. The Lieutenant Governor is elected alongside the Governor every three months. The position was created on 25 April 2022, after the passing of the Lieutenant Governors Act.
Duties
The primary duty of the Lieutenant Governor is to succeed the Governor if the office becomes vacant due to resignation, impeachment or death.
