The Bepistan Ferry is a public network of ferry routes in the Bepistani Reich, owned and operated by the Bepistan Ministry of Transportation. There are three main routes and one shuttle service providing passenger service to the Bepistani salt marsh area and nearby uninhabited islands. All four routes are seasonal, and only operate from May to September each year.

Background

Early proposals

The idea for a ferry servicing the Bepistani salt marsh area first originated in late 2018, planned to operate solely between the mainland and White Island to transport freight and people for a small fee.

Present-day expansion

After the collapse of Auvenum gave full control of White Island to Bepistan, the need for a more expansive marine transportation system had surfaced. The first route was officially declared in mid February 2021, with stops at the north and south ends of Shell Bank, and another at the south tip of White Island.

The system was further expanded in May 2020 with the creation of two new routes, expanding service to Plumb Beach, Dead Horse Bay, and Jamaica Bay, as well as designating Canarsie Pier as a terminal for access to macronational transportation. As part of the May expansion, service to White Island from the south end of Shell Bank was truncated into a separate shuttle service independent from the 3 main routes.
