The Volcavian-Pontunian Calendar is a calendar used by the Kingdom of Pontunia. Introduced on 10 January 2023, the calendar starts on January 12, 2020, the first Pontunia Day.

The current year is 2 VE, which runs from 12 January 2022 to 11 January 2023.

Dating system

Although devised in 2023, the V-P calendar officially begins on 12 January 2020, the founding of Pontunia as a sovereign state. Each month is 30 days long, with an additional Intercalary month. Years from 12 January 2020 onwards are given the suffix VE (Volcavian Era). Dates preceding use Gregorian dates, despite the first day of the first month of the V-P calendar being 12 days after the first day of the first month of the Gregorian Calendar.

In the event of a leap year, the Intercalary month is extended by one day.
