The Serene Canton of Radnia, or just Radnia unofficially, is a North American micronation nearby to the city of Fort Myers, Florida. It was founded by current Executive Chairman Ezekiel Ensor on June 21, 2021. It follows the system of Federal Democracy. The official map can be found here
History
On 21 June 2021, Ezekiel Ensor founded the Serene Canton of Radnia in their bedroom. Not much was decided or developed, and there was not even a name for the country yet. The next day, they spent hours out of the morning developing the country. Originally an isolationist state, not a lot of progress was made toward the development of the nation for several days. On the 25 June, the City of Bydgoszcz was claimed via email to the Polish MFA (this claim has since been renounced). An announcement of this was made to the Microwiki discord, mostly for kicks. On the 26, at the urging of the Vice Chair, the whole of San Carlos Park was claimed. Then the Emperor of Kopernik was amused at the claim of Bydgoszcz, being Polish. he DM'd Ensor about it, admiring his bravery. After a few days of socialising, the Socialist Federal Republic of Kopernik and Radnia decided to found the EAMA.
On 20 July 2021, following the dissolution of the enemy nation Hellerk it was decided that the lands previously owned by the nation would be split between Radnia and the ally The Republic of Alabamia. On 1 August 2021, Radnia withdrew from the EAMA and returned to isolationism due to increasing edginess and hypocrisy from what previously was a close ally, Kopernik. This was uncoincidentally the same day Kopernik converted to Fascism.
The Senate of Radnia was formally organized on September 13, 2021.
From January 16, 2022, a major restructuring to the Canton had gone underway, taking a more serious and realistic approach to micronationalism, more than just as entertainment. This begun by removing unnecessary or excess from the canton, such as useless claims of land, potentially harmful opinions on certain matters, and generally unprofessional things. This developed into the Serene Canton of Shulinguo, Radnia's successor state.
Symbolism
The Serene Canton of Radnia has several national symbols, all to symbolize the people, nation, and ideology of the nation.
National Color
The current national color is a particular shade of fuchsia, used on most national articles and anything pertaining to the nation. It is known within the Canton as Radnian Fuchsia (#bf4f6c). Previously, this mantle was held by International Orange (#ff4f00), but following a style change in December 2021, it has been Radnian Fuchsia.
National Animals
National Mammal
The national mammal of Radnia is the Sable (Martes zibellina). It is usually used to symbolize the Radnian State, rather than the government, though it can sometimes be used for cultural events.
National Bird
The national bird of Radnia is the Common Barn Owl (Tyto alba). It represents Radnia's desire to unite people worldwide, as the Barn Owl is found worldwide, except in polar regions.
National Plants
National Flower
The national flower of Radnia is the orange blossom (Citrus sinensis). It symbolises Radnia's culture and local geography.
National Tree
The national tree of Radnia is the Weeping Magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora). It symbolises the serenity of the Canton, and our appreciation of the beauty of nature's creation.
National Dishes
Radnia has multiple staple dishes, most of which are hearty dishes based on poultry or seafood. Among these staples are Crab Cake, Chicken Soup, Steamed Blue Crab, Smoked Salmon, among others.

Radnian Aerospace
Radnian Aerospace, or RA, is the organization that handles any business in the sky. It also includes military operations, as well as outer space dealings. Most work for the RA is done in simulation, such as X-Plane or KSP. It was founded on 12 August 2021.
Radnian Senate Committee
The RSC handles diplomacy within the Senate and between political parties. It moderates and maintains a civil atmosphere around the Senate. It also catalogs and records every political party and movement within the Canton.
