The Rayiys of Pinang (Italian: Rayiys di Pinang) was a political charge during Commonwealth of Pinang. The Rayiys was the head of government and coordinated diplomatic relations of the Commonwealth of Pinang.
Etymology
The name Rayiys comes from the Arabic language. The name can be translated in eleven different ways, the most important are the first, president and leader.
