The President of Phillip is the head of government of the Republic of Phillip. The President is elected by the citizens in a General Election held every three months. The President of Phillip currently is Iyan Seeker, who has been serving since 13 April 2023.
Constitutional role
Under the Constitution, the President has the ability to:
- Shutdown the government
- Pass or deny bills sent by the National Assembly
- Pass executive orders (restricted to anything related to organizing and claiming territory)
- Appoint other members of the government, except for the Minister of the Mint
- Appoint the mayor of the capital city
- Appoint the Governors of the subdivisions
- Banish citizens who have committed treason, removing citizenship and claims
- Veto declarations of war from the General of the Military
