Austin Itzen is a leader in the major Phillip political party, Progresivos De Fe. He has served as the "Minister of Mayhem", a position that is largely ceremonial, since the foundation of the party in mid-April.

In March 2023, fellow party member and younger brother Owen Itzen announced his candidacy for presidency. With the launch of his candidacy, he announced that Itzen would be his running mate. The campaign was dropped a few days before the election with the announcement of Nick DeVorb's campaign.
