The Dales, officially the People's Republic of the Dales is a self-proclaimed sovereign state primarily located in the U.S. state of Maryland. The country is a de facto successor state to Vulhalin; it is nominally a federal union of comprised of 3 national republics, those being the Calverts, Strafland, and Wute. The Dales is not recognized by any United Nations member states, but is apart of the Micronational Assembly, and served as chairman. In the first months of its existence, the country was an absolute monarchy before reforming into a republic and adopting progressive ideals. The country has 17 citizens, 5 of which that actually live on territorial claims.
The Dales is considered to be apart of the Korp Sector, and has both formal and informal ties with Wetherill, Avon, Faltree, and Bepistan.
