Pan-Elarianism is a political and cultural ideology that advocates for the unity of Elarians, a specific ethnocultural group, under one banner. This belief is primarily concentrated in the Southern United States, particularly in Louisiana. The ideology suggests that Elarians, who are spread across various regions, should be united to form a cohesive political and cultural entity. The Empire of Ela'r'oech is often idealized as the central governing body in this vision.

Origins and development

There is no doubt that the Elarian peoples and speakers have a place to stay. That is ultimately the Empire of Ela'r'oech. However, there is also no doubt that many of these peoples have been deserted by the governments which they attempt to stay a part of. The ultimate goal of the Empire should be an entire and fully encompassing annexation of all territories which house a majority Elarian peoples in order to ensure to security of the peoples and language.

The concept of Pan-Elarianism emerged from a historical context where Elarians, despite sharing cultural and ethnic roots, were divided politically and geographically. The central tenet of Pan-Elarianism is the promotion of cultural and ethnic unity among Elarians. This involves the preservation and celebration of Elarian traditions, language, and heritage.

The Elarian people, around whom Pan-Elarianism revolves, share a distinct ethnic, cultural, and linguistic heritage. This group's history is characterized by dispersion across various regions, contributing to the diversity of their cultural expressions.

Proponents of Pan-Elarianism are also often Neo-Carolusians and National monarchists, both of which often advocate for Elarian imperialism and the annexation of former territories. Anthony Ramirez, Ian Clark, and Terry Jacobs are all examples of prominent Pan-Elarian nationalists.

Political aspects

Advocates of Pan-Elarianism often envision the Empire of Ela'r'oech as the ideal political entity to unite all Elarians. This empire is seen as a symbol of historical and cultural significance. The ideology also involves discussions around self-governance and political autonomy for Elarians, with a focus on establishing a government that represents Elarian interests and values. Critics of Pan-Elarianism argue that it promotes ethnic exclusivity and may lead to divisions within the broader community. Pan-Elarianism is also viewed as heavily militarist, nationalist, and imperialist. It's also overall simply viewed as unnecessary.

A significant aspect of Pan-Elarianism is the preservation of Elarian traditions, including language, arts, folklore, and religious practices. This involves organizing cultural events, educational programs, and community gatherings to keep these traditions alive. The preservation of Elarian traditions fosters a sense of pride and identity among Elarians, emphasizing the uniqueness of their cultural heritage and the importance of maintaining it.

Opposition

There have been instances of anti-Elarian sentiment within Pontunia, especially since October 2023. This sentiment began to manifest after Thomas Jacobs called for the total destruction of Elarians, leading to actions by Andrew Perdomo, such as removing Elarians from Pontunia's discord server. Most opposition to Pan-Elarianism seem to come from former Republics which see the Confederation of Naw as a state with a Pan-Elarianist agenda or Andrew Perdomo's Kingdom of Pontunia which proclaims that Anti-Elarianism is Anti-Imperialism.
