Antielarianism

Antielarianism (also spelled Anti-Elarianism) is hostility to, prejudice, or discrimination against Elarians. Such sentiment is a form of racism, with someone who harbors anti-elarian beliefs being called an antielarian.

Antielarianism may be manifested in many ways, ranging from expressions of hatred of or discrimination against individual Elarians, mainly by pseudo-militant or even military attacks on individual Elarians, though notably on the Elarian military. Although the term did not come into even uncommon usage until 2021, it is also applied to previous and later Anti-Elarian incidents. Notable instances of persecution include the rock throwing incidents which occurred in the Elarian-Alarian Cold War and the anti-Elarian discrimination throughout the micronational community, with examples such as Runnymede's Anti-Elarian History.

Origin and usage

The term began to be used initially in the Runnymede discord server before spreading to areas such as Ela'r'oech and Alaria. It has since spread to other micronations, such as Pontunia, Worrell, the Republic of Bushistan, and more. This is likely able to be attributed to the fact that such places have high rates of Elarian diaspora, rates of Elarian peoples holding citizenship there, and Elarian foreign influence perceived as Elarian imperialism.

Causes

Anti-Elarianism is often caused by racism, xenophobia and general fear of Elarian imperialism.

The term begins to be used by people other than the King of Ela'r'oech.

Other Micronations

The Principality of Runnymede

The Principality of Runnymede had held Anti-Elarian discrimination and behavior, this was admitted by the Prince, Matthew Cunningham. However, after a court battle or two, Charles - Elarian and Parliament Member - became Runnymede's Prime Minister and ended all Anti-Elarian discrimination. Runnymede was then server-destroyed and reformed as the Republic of Worrell, which has also since been accused of Anti-Elarianism.

The Republic of Worrell

The Republic of Worrell was accused of Anti-Elarian discrimination, behavior, and more. It began when Matthew Cunningham and Liam MacKenzie joined the Republic's server and attempted to force Charles Madgett out of the server. Their plan failed however later on Charles gave his position of Chancellor to Cunningham as a means to prove that all they care about was to have Charles gone. This was subsequently proven true when he was banned shortly after. Anthony Ramirez later joined, attempting to ask questions before being banned in the server.
