The Orders, decorations and medals of Salanda is the Kingdom of Salanda’s awards and honours system it currently has a growing system of awards and honours for those that have served the nation well.
Background
The concept of honouring those who have served the nation well is traced back to the nation’s founding and establishment when its founder Reuben I, the current King and Monarch of the Kingdom of Salanda was honoured as a national hero for establishing the Kingdom of Salanda and other citizens later on were also honoured with praises and given titles. However a proper system was not implemented until late 2021 when an act of Parliament was drafted establishing an honours and award system with the first Order, the Order of Salandarian Recognition being commissioned on the 12 September 2021 and an award for the Order being made on the 7 October 2021. There are currently six distinguishing honours and awards that can be attained by citizens and non-citizens alike.
