The Kingdom of Jupiter, officially the Kingdom of Jupiter and Greater Territories or just Jupiter is a Constitutional Monarchy surrounded by the state of North Carolina in the United States. The Kingdom was officially constituted on July 6, 2016 by King Max I and the first Minister Prime, MP Parsons.
Etymology
The name “Jupiter” was chosen by King Max I, after the Roman God Jupiter (Zeus in Greek) for the power he welded, but also because Jupiter claimed the planet of the same name in its early days as a nation.
Government and politics
The Kingdom is a constitutional monarchy. The King is the primary administrator of the nation and conducts cabinet meetings. The Senate is the main legislature in the Kingdom. In 2017, King Max attended the second MicroCon meeting of micronations in Atlanta, U.S.A. This was the first international meeting between the Kingdom and other micronations. King Max opened diplomatic relations with several other micronations, signing treaties of mutual recognition.
Jovian Senate
The Jovian Senate is the people's branch of the Kingdom of Jupiter. It is the prime legislator of Jupiter (the King and National Policy Council (NPC) have some legislative power). The Senate is created by Article 3 in the Constitution. Senators are elected in a general election every quarter. Each Senator is elected at large. It is tradition that if there are no challengers all Senators keep their seats. There is one Senator from Wynbrook.
External Affairs
External Affairs Office This office deals with all foreign relations matters. That includes, but is not limited to, establishing policies, operations of diplomatic missions, participating in inter-micronational organizations, foreign affairs of the Commonwealth Territories, and recognizing other nations. This office has put the nation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea based on possible persecution of Jovian citizens for many normal seeming things, and the kingdom has no diplomacy in the region, so they cannot protect their citizens.
Foreign Affairs
he Kingdom has always been open for relations and thinks that diplomacy is the only way to keep peace worldwide. That being said the Kingdom still maintains the right to chose who it opens relations with. To help with this we split our relations with other nations into three categories. Jupiter will open full bilateral relations with another party if the other party has permanent land claims of that micronation must not be all within Bir Tawil, Antarctica, or undeveloped islands without having a permanent resident living there. Informal relations are given to countries hat fail getting other relations or are on good relations with the kingdom. The kingdom may also extend limited recognition, recognizing that some leaders are in sovereign control of their territory. This nation is a member state of the Grand Unified Micronational.

Diplomatic Missions are representatives of the kingdom in a local area. They represent the interests of the kingdom in the surrounding area. Business that takes place with a Diplomatic Mission takes place in the kingdom.

Military
The military of the Kingdom of Jupiter is split into four branches, and it otherwise known as the KOJAF, or Kingdom of Jupiter Armed Forces.

Jovian Association of Medical Service
Also known as JAMS, the Jovian Association of Medical Service is the only association dedicated to the public health and safety of the Kingdom and its citizens. One of the main functions is the upkeep of a hand sanitizer station. Another activity the JAMS undertakes is public service announcements working with the Department of Style.
Department of Style
The Department of Style is the official graphic design creator. The Department creates seals, logos, and propaganda. It has created symbols such as the Jovian Senate seal depicted in Jovian Senate.
Space, Planets, Asteroid, and Celestial Exploration Agency
More simply known as SPACE, this agency is dedicated to exploring our cosmos and getting a better understanding of it. Currently, Project Monolith is in service, which observes the Moon and Jupiter.
Culture
The formal dress of Jupiter is casual. At senate meetings for example jeans and a T-shirt are acceptable and normal.
