The Kingdom of Ardrossan and Colchester, commonly known as Ardrossan ('KAC or K.A.C) is a sovereign country located in the Great Lakes region of North America united from two countries into one. The Kingdom of Ardrossan and Colchester is a unitary parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy. The current monarch is King Joseph I, who has reigned since 2020 and is age 83, making him one of the oldest micronational living head of states. Other major cities include Edward, New Midlothian.
The Kingdom of Ardrossan and Colchester consists of two constituent countries: Ardrossan, Colchester. Their capitals are Greenock, Carnic, respectively. Apart from Ardrossan, Colchester has its own devolved government.
History
Background
The Kingdom of Ardrossan and Colchester was founded by then Prince of Greenock, Aidan. He founded it after he founded more about his ancestry on his mothers side. Is family on his mom side dates back to Ardrossan and Greenock where the current monarchs parents where born. Prince Aidan looked for the eldest of the descendants and found his grandfather to be the eldest living son of the family. He then created a nation based around this discovery and named this grandfather, Joesph I King of the Kingdom of Ardrossan and Colchester.
Joespehian Era
During the time of his reign in the early months, Jospeh I lead the Kingdom very loosely. Joseph I placed then Prince, Aidan to practically call all the shots and have himself later approve them. Later he became less and less involved with the Kingdom and offered his abdication to happen in early April and return then later shortly as Monarch of the Kingdom.
Abdication of and return of Joseph I
On 3 April 2020, then reigning monarch Joseph I decided to abdicated as King of Ardrossan and Colchester and through the line of succession making then Prince of Greenock, Aidan, the monarch of the Kingdom.
On 7 April 2020, Joseph I accepted to become Monarch again after newly succeeded Monarch, Aidan I was busy with other things then running the Kingdom and Joepseh returned to being Monarch
Geography
The total area of the Kingdom of Ardrossan and Colchester is approximately 244,820 square kilometres (94,530 sq mi). The country occupies the small part of the Great Lakes Region its only bordering nation is the Free Socialist State of Paloma which makes the Kingdom and enclave and Paloma has an exclave in the Kingdom. The mainland Kingdom does not have any access to water except from Paloma.
Ardrossan accounts for almost 60% of the total land count of the Kingdom, this area is usually mostly flat ground and fields. The capital of Ardrossan is New Midlothian
Colchester accounts for 30% of the total land count for the Kingdom, this area is more wooded and hilly and is known to be home plenty of native animal species. The Capital of Colchester is Edward.
Climate
Paloma is located southwest of the US state of Michigan, the climate is close to the city of Taylor.
