The Invasion of Wilmerland was a war between Åxenö and Wilmerland (now Jurassicland and previously Dionoland) during the Dionoland Papaland War. The war began when Åxenö forces entered Wilmerland. First Åxenö pushed to the south of Dionoland and to the north of Wilmerland capturing the capital. Åxenö commensed GM-Day were they landed troops south of Wilmerlands second largest settlement. GM-Day would see landing ships land on the coast of Wilmerland. In the end the operation was a fail as Wilmerland held its ground and even pushed into Åxenö for a couple of hours. A peace deal would be signed where the borders would go back to normal.

Background

The Gravle War that had happened before the Invasion was one factor to Åxenö invading. Åxenö needed gravel to complete the infastructure project. And right before the war the president of Wilmerland, Wilmer Himberg had illegaly entered Åxenö which sparked the war.

Invasion

Åxenö forces would cross in and take key points. The 1st Brigade would head to the capital while the 2nd Brigade would head to the capital. The 1st Brigade would fight for control of the capital. Some Åxenö forces hedead twoards a pile of gravel put met heavy resistance. The Marius Administartion would be set up in some of the occupied territories that had been taken by Marius Åkerblom. The paramilitary organization the MADF would also support the invasion.

GM Day

To capture the pile of gravel, Åxenö commensed GM-Day. On GM-Day the 1st Brigade landed on the beaches of Wilmerlands capital and stormed forward, they almost took the capital untill Wilmerland forces entered Åxenö.

Wilmerland Attack into Åxenö

Wilmerland forces would attack into Åxenö almost taking the capital, Börkö. The 1st and 2nd Brigades pulled back to fight the 1st Wilmerland Brigade which had entered Åxenö. After hours of fighting, Åxenö forces would push out Wilmerland.

Wilmerland Capital Battle

The battle for the capital would the be the largest battle of the war. Åkerblom would flank the city from the north while Axel Himberg would attack from the south and east. Heavy figthing would happen between the forces. Åkerblom would enter and occupy parts of the capital. Heavy fighting would happen in the centre of the capital over the flag pole which would collape and the flag would be captured. Wilmerlands capital battle would finnaly end after Åxenö forces pulled out.

Åxenö withdraw

Åxenö forces would withdraw in a day and the war would end.
