The inauguration of Rey Jr. Mancio as the President of the Free Rendonese State took place at around 04:15 PM (PHT) on Saturday, 4 June 2022 at the Ceremonial Hall of the Presidential Palace in the District of New Maison. The oath of office was administered by the Chairman of the Commission on Elections Varuna Sriraya who joined the event virtually through Google Meet, so did other invited guests.
History
On 15 May 2022, then Prime Minister Rey Jr. Mancio tendered his resignation to President Kahlil Laurence Rallestan, who later in the evening signed the ordinance to dissolve the Batasang Pambansa. Moments after dissolving the parliament, president Rallestan announced his resignation from the presidency announcing former prime minister Rey Jr. Mancio as his direct successor as the prime minister was first in line of succession to the president.
However, the chairman of the commission on elections Varuna Sriraya cited the move as "unconstitutional" since Mancio was no longer the prime minister and thus was not eligible for direct succession. He therefore directed the president to continue his tenure on an acting basis until a permanent successor was elected. The schedule for the presidential election were announced on 22 May 2022 and election was to be held on 29 May 2022. Since, only one nomination was filed by Rey Jr. Mancio, he was declared elect as president on 28 May 2022 by the ComElec.
Inauguration ceremony
Initially scheduled for 1 June 2022, the ceremony was moved to 4 June in order for the date to be convenient for the president-elect and other dignitaries. Finally on 4 June 2022 at 4:15 PM PHT, the event began with the order of election being read by the Chairman of the Commission on Elections Varuna Sriraya who would then invite president-elect Rey Jr. Mancio to take the oath. The oath was subscribed in english:
I, Rey Jr. Mancio, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully and conscientiously fulfill my duties as President of the Free Rendonese State, preserve and defend its Constitution, execute its laws, do justice to every man, and consecrate myself to the service of the Nation. So help me God.
After taking his oath of office, the newly inaugurated president delivered his maiden speech to the nation in which he spoke about strengthening the nation and its bilateral relations and also thanked the election commission for its hard task. Following his speech, the national anthem was played. After the anthem, all guests extended short congratulatory messages to the president and confirmed their support in building Renderfeit. The Prince Elector of Fidelis, Rameses, delivered an emotional speech to congratulate the president.

Among the invited guests those skipped the event included Arthur II, the King of Ebenthal; President Sean Raquel of New Gerussia, and the Prince of Amaranth.
