History

2018 High Election

Presidential Candidate Cooper Norfolk was a member of the the Marijuana Rights Protection Party of Seybold and won the election under the party by 100%.

Name Change

On 15 October, 2018, Party Chairman Cooper Norfolk changed the name of the political party from the Marijuana Rights Protection Party of Seybold to the Green Party of Seybold.

Headquarters Built

On 29 October 2018, President Cooper Norfolk was able to get a building permit approved by the Seybold Department of Construction. This Building Permit, the second one ever issued in the Democratic Republic of Seybold, was issued to President Norfolk so he could build the Headquarters for the Green Party of Seybold. The Building Permit was first approved by Iyan Seeker, head of the Seybold Department of Construction (DOC), at 8:10 A.M. UTC-5. According to the Green Party of Seybold, the land that they built their Headquarters is exactly 0.27807912 square meters in area. The Green Party of Seybold was able to buy the land for free since Seyboldish Florins, the official currency of Seybold, had not be printed and circulated by the Seybold Department of Printing and Engraving at this point and along with the fact that no one owned the land before the Green Party of Seybold built on the land. In the Building Permit, the owner was put as the Federal Government of New Springfield, since the land is in the Federal District of New Springfield. The Headquarters has a picture of the Green Party of Seybold Logo in black and white. There is also a donation box, which will officially open on 1 January 2018, the same day that all of the Seyboldish Florins are officially printed in the Democratic Republic of Seybold. The floor of the Headquarters is a soft, white bed sheet. There is a wax Koala made from a Local Zoo, which represents the Environmentalism of the Green Party, and a small container that serves as the Head of the Green Party of Seybold’s Office.

Logo Changed

On 6 December, 2018, President Cooper Norfolk, who is the current head of the Green Party of Seybold, decided that the logo of the party was outdated and looked horrible. His solution was to create a new logo for the Green Party of Seybold. At about 7 A.M. GMT-5, he created the new logo. The new logo has the words “Green Party” in all caps and in a straight line. Above the line of words is a light green and dark green rhombus shape with a hole in the middle of it that is also shaped like a rhombus. That was put there to represent the four main ideologies of the Green Party of Seybold, Marijuana Rights Protection, Democratic Socialism, Environmentalism, and Equality. President Cooper Norfolk enjoys the logo very much and said that it was a quote, “improvement from the last one”.

Website Submitted

On 11 December 2018, President Cooper Norfolk, who is also the head of the Green Party of Seybold, created a website for the Green Party of Seybold. He created the website to help new citizens of Seybold decide their political party by providing more information on his. The domain of the website is greenpartyofseybold.wordpress.com, which brings you to the Homepage of the website. At the top of the website, there is a very small picture of the Green Party of Seybold logo above the words “Green Party of Seybold”. There are five sections on the website, the Homepage, the “Four Ideologies” page, the “Chair” page, and the work in progress News Page. The Homepage has a small article about the Green Party of Seybold, which says quote, “The Green Party of Seybold is the oldest and most conscious political party of the Democratic Republic of Seybold. We area Environmentalist-Progressive political party that puts the Environment and Equality first. We fight for fiscal and social equality throughout the Democratic Republic of Seybold.” The “Four Ideologies” page contains multiple pictures represent the four main ideologies of the Green Party of Seybold, Environmentalism, Equality, Democratic Socialism, and Marijuana Rights Protection. The “Chair” section of the just tells you the current chair of the Green Party of Seybold, which is President Cooper Norfolk. President Cooper Norfolk is very proud of the new website. Manifesto Written

On 22 December 2018, President Cooper Norfolk, who is also the Chairman of the Green Party of Seybold, decided to write the manifesto of the Green Party of Seybold. He was inspired by the Arkonian Patriot Party leader A. Dillman writting the manifesto for his political party. The Green Party Manifesto is relatively short and easy to read. It only has five parts, the preamble and the four ideological pillars. The full manifesto says quote, “PREAMBLE :The members of this party will unite and follow the four common pillars of the Green Party of Seybold to spread Environmentalism and True Democracy throughout the Democratic Republic of Seybold. This is only a mandatory ideology set book, but it is ideal for members of the Green Party of Seybold to read and follow. ENVIRONMENTALISM: The Environment is the most important problem in the entire world and the main focus of the Green Party of Seybold. In the Democratic Republic of Seybold, we must fund the Seybold Plastic Control Agency more money, sing alternitaves for plastic, protect any plants or animals in the Democratic Republic of Seybold, and reduce Carbon Emmission rapidly. It is the duty of every member of the Green Party of Seybold to protect the Environment with their life. SOCIAL EQUALITY: Equal pay and overall tolerance to other religions and races is promoted by the Green Party of Seybold. Racism and Sexism will not help our society develope in any way or form, it will only set us in a backward direction by implement Jim Crow laws and other such pregidous laws. It is necessary that a member of the Green Party of Seybold is not pregidous towards any religion, sex, or race. DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM: Democratic Socialism is one of the best government systems invented. Democratic Socialism is the right government form for the Democratic Republic of Seybold and has to be promoted by the members of the Green Party of Seybold. KEEPING MARIJUANA LEGAL: Marijuana is an essential part of any citizen of Seybold above the age of twenty-six. It is perfectly fine for any person above that age to in take the drug in moderation, which is why it should stay legal in the Democratic Republic of Seybold. All members of the Green Party of Seybold shall fight to keep Marijuana Legalized.” Under those words is the signature of President Cooper Norfolk, who was very happy about this manifesto being written.

Seybold World Map Referendum

During the Seybold World Map Referendum, which is a referendum that is currently being held by the Seybold Department of Tourism to decide whether they would like to remove two micronations that the Democratic Republic of Seybold does not recognize anymore, the Kingdom of Auvenum and the Democratic Republic of Fort Dunkin from the Seybold World Map or not, the entirety of the registered voters of the Green Party of Seybold voted to Keep the two micronations mention above on the map.
